Event Description:
The Sweetwater County Historical Museum invites the community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, September 19 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at 3 E. Flaming Gorge Way in Green River. In partnership with Juntos Wyoming and BRIDGES for Community and Unity, this free event will showcase the art and culture of our Latino community in Sweetwater County and Wyoming. This festival will be the opening reception of Angie Quintana Bennett’s “Visual History of Home & Heritage” and during the festival, Las Angelitas Unidas y Los Rayos del Sol of Cheyenne will perform folklórico dance with traditional music and clothing. Please join the Museum, Juntos, and BRIDGES to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Sweetwater County Historical Museum.
