All employers and organizations with U.S. based employees must adhere to the rules of the Form I-9. A new version of the form has been released, and employers were required to start using the new form May 1, 2020. Due to the release of the new revised form along with COVID-19 guidance there are several announcements that have been released regarding the employment eligibility verification processes. Participants will learn about tips related to the new Form I-9; flexibility in requirements related to Form I-9; employment eligibility verification compliance; taking action on tentative nonconfirmations; temporary policies related to COVID-19, and more!
