High Desert HR Association, an affiliate of SHRM, presents:

Mental "Health" in the Workplace:

Tackling the Stigma & Starting the Conversation

Learn about mental health in the U.S. with facts and number comparisons for Wyoming along with trends specific to Sweetwater County. Key factors for addressing mental health in the workplace for HR professionals will be identified. Participants will gain an understanding of employee/student assistance programs and what makes them effective along with how to access them. Additional discussion will focus on HR’s role is in addressing mental health awareness in the workplace, addressing warning signs of distress in employees, and creating a win/win situation for leadership and employees.

 

High Desert Human Resources Association is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credit (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. This program has been pre-approved for one (1) hour of SHRM and HRCI General Credit.
